Sportball 2026/2027

The Greater Windermere Community League (GWCL) will be offering 3 Sportball sessions to its members catered to 2 separate age groups. These sessions will run on Tuesdays from 6:00pm to 6:45pm for children aged 5 & under and 6:50pm to 7:35 pm for school aged children 6 & older at Joan Carr Catholic School here in Windermere located at 1140 Keswick Drive SW.
- Session 1 will run with 11 classes on Tuesdays, October 6, 13, 20, 27, November 3, 10, 17, 24, and December 1, 8, & 15.
- Session 2 will run with 11 classes on Tuesdays, January 12, 19, 26, February 2, 9, 16, 23, and March 2, 9, 16, & 23.
- Session 3 will run with 8 classes on Tuesdays, April 6, 13, 20, 27 and May 4, 11, 18, & 25.
6:00pm to 6:45pm: The focus of the kinder & under (aged 5 & under) class will be on social interaction between children as well as improving gross and fine motor skills. The program requires parental supervision and you are NOT allowed to leave your child(ren) unattended. The program will focus on using gym equipment to play games and build motor skills and will rotate every week. Because social interaction is the focus, there will be an instructor to 'lead' the class but it will involve the parents to 'play' with their kids using the equipment (primarily balls).
6:50pm to 7:35pm: The school-aged (aged 6 & up) class is geared towards children in grade one or higher that can actively participate and listen to instruction independently. This program will focus on using gym equipment to play games to develop athletic agility and will rotate every week.
GWCL has contracted instructors from Sport Ball to host these classes and are able to offer them at a discount to our members and non-members. These classes will cost:
- Session 1 for members $170 and $190 for non-members
- Session 2 for members $170 and $190 for non-members
- Session 3 for members $125 and $140 for non-members
